Founded in 1969, Dongfeng is one of China's Big Four automakers, building passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and electric cars sold in more than 100 countries.
More than 60 million vehicles have rolled off Dongfeng lines. Today the company invests heavily in new energy vehicles (NEVs) and driver-assistance technology, and ranks in the Fortune Global 500.

SN Automotive
Founded in 2025 by Al Safy Group and El Nasr Automotive Manufacturing Company, SN Automotive was built around one simple goal: making great cars here in Egypt, for Egyptians.
We opened with one of the biggest launches the Egyptian market has seen (3 brands and 9 models at once), and we're now preparing to build the first electric car assembled right here in Egypt from imported parts (known as CKD).

Construction of the Second Automobile Works (predecessor of DFM) begins in Shiyan, Hubei.
- 1975.06
Independently developed the first model, the 2.5t off-road EQ240.
- 1975.11.18
The brand was officially named 'Dongfeng' by approval of the State Council.
- 1978.07.15
EQ140 5t heavy-duty truck launched, marking the shift from military to civilian use.
Rapid Growth

R&D Center established, formalizing a 'develop now, research next' product philosophy.

Renamed Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) and Dongfeng Motor Group (DFG).

Foundation laid for Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Company.
